Product Description

Working Principle

TONY pellet machine converts biomass feed stock into pellet fuel by mechanical extrusion. The process consists of feeding the raw material to the compression system, where it is compressed under high pressure and temperature, and then cooling to improve the hardness and stability of the particles. The core structure of the equipment includes frame, motor, press roller, ring mold, electric heating ring and other components. Some models adopt vertical centrifugal ring mold design, combining the advantages of traditional flat mold and ring mold to improve the pelleting efficiency. The control system can adjust parameters such as temperature and pressure to ensure particle quality and yield

How To Make Wood Pellets?
1. Crushing process:Use a wood chipper to cut the wood into pieces 2.5 cm (0.98 in) or smaller
2. Fine crushing process:Using a hammer mill, smaller pieces are crushed and cut into  5 mm (0.20 in).
3. Drying process:Drying the raw material,ensure that the water content of the raw material is about 10%-20%. 
4.Pelleting process:TONY's new 304 stainless steel vertical ring die pellet machine is extruded by ring die and press roll,
5. Cooling process:The pellets themselves will be hot and release water vapor, so they must be cooled and dried, which can make them harder.
6. Packaging process:Once the particles are cooled, they are transported to a packaging facility, packed and stored in a dry place.

PLEASE NOTE: Different pellet manufacturers may have different process details and quality control standards.
If the wood chips raw materials may contain stones or metal and other debris, if these debris into the pellet machine particle chamber, they are likely to lead to the pellet machine mold clogging or wear, so the raw materials into the wood pellet machine before screening iron impurities. 1.  The gear box adopts Zhejiang Huixin brand,TONY custom model to increase the heavy duty.The gear box is adopt with Zhejiang HUIXIN brand and TONY custom LOGO. Compared with the ordinary HUIXIN model, the internal gear is enlarges and thickness, which is more durable and taste.
2.  The feed port, discharge shell, dust collection cover, lifting knife and internal cutting knife of the pellet machine are made of 304 stainless steel to avoid steam corrosion and rust during the formation of pellets and increase the durability of the equipment.
3.   The upper discharge shells made of 304 stainless steel, which avoids the short comings of poor compression resistance and easy cracking caused by welding. arc profile appearance, to avoid operator injury, and arc profile tensile strength is stronger, not easy to damage.
4.  The rotary support is installed under the discharge housing to avoid the traditional rotation support is easy to be corroded by steam at the top, the internal steel ball is easy to rust corrosion short comings.

5.  The gear reducer is installed under the discharge housing, the power is stronger, and the gear reducer is not easy to damage.  And adopt the Zhejiang HUIXIN brand hard tooth surface reducer, which is a brand of gear box, the torque resistance is stronger, and the rotation power is more sufficient.
6.304 stainless steel dust cover, steam resistance, corrosion resistance is stronger, and in this way, it is hard to be damaged.
7.  The internal lifting knife is made of thickened stainless steel, which can effectively avoid high temperature and steam corrosion, increase the durability of the lifting knife, and the lifting effort is better, so that the raw materials inside the pellet machine are not easy to cover and pile.
