About TONY Sawdust Rotary Drum Dryer:
TONY Rotary Drum Dryer is a kind of equipment specially used for the treatment of sawdust, sawdust and other powdery wet materials, through the role of high temperature and drying medium to dry it to achieve the purpose of reducing the water content of the material.
TONY Rotary Drum Dryer adots low-speed rotarying curved plate hammering, dispersing raw material to make the high temperature air flow current mixed with raw materialto achieve the drying work. It mainly applied to drying process of all kinds of powerder raw material.
TONY Rotary Drum Dryer's evaporation capacity is generally 30-80kg/h, with the increase in air temperature increased, and with the nature of material changes in the water.
Equipment moves smooth, reliable, non-wearing parts, less malfunction, long service life, which have been widely used of the drying industry.

TONY Sawdust Rotary Drum Dryer Working Principle
Drum system:
The inclined rotating drum (diameter 0.8-3.8 meters, length 6-24 meters) is made of high-temperature resistant stainless steel or wear-resistant steel plate. Inside, there are lifting plates (leaf-shaped structure), which can lift and scatter sawdust, increasing the contact area with the hot air flow.
Heat source system:
Common heat sources include coal-fired hot air furnaces, gas burners, biomass pellet burners, electric heating, etc. They can be selected based on production scale and energy cost, with a thermal efficiency of 70% to 90%.
Transmission system:
The motor and reducer drive the drum to rotate at a low speed (3-8 revolutions per minute), ensuring that the sawdust moves evenly and is fully heated inside the drum.
Dust removal system:
Equipped with cyclone dust collectors and bag filters, it collects the dust generated during the drying process, meeting the environmental protection emission standards (dust emission concentration < 30mg/m³)
TONY Sawdust Rotary Drum Dryer Core Characteristics:
1. High drying efficiency
Usually, the hot air co-current drying process is adopted. The material is in full contact with the hot air inside the dryer, with a large contact area, which enables the moisture to evaporate quickly, shortens the drying time, improves the drying efficiency, and can quickly reduce the moisture in sawdust to the ideal level.
2. Strong processing capacity
It can be customized according to the actual production needs of users. The daily processing capacity generally ranges from tens to hundreds of tons, which can meet the production requirements of different scales and adapt to large-scale sawdust drying operations.
3. Reasonable structural design
The equipment has a simple structure, occupies a small area, and is easy to build and maintain. For instance, by adopting a drum structure design, it operates stably with a low probability of failure, allowing for long-term continuous operation and reducing both operating and maintenance costs.
4. Good environmental protection performance
Production lines are generally equipped with dust removal equipment, which can collect and purify the dust and waste gas generated during the drying process, reducing environmental pollution and meeting environmental protection requirements.
5. Diverse heat source options
A variety of fuels such as coal, natural gas, steam, biomass pellets and fuel oil can be selected as heat sources. Users can choose the most suitable heat source based on their actual situation and cost considerations, which offers high flexibility.
6. Wide range of applications
In addition to sawdust, it can also be widely applied to the drying of various similar materials such as wood chips, bamboo shavings, bamboo powder and wood shavings, and has strong versatility and adaptability.

What Raw Materials Can A Rotary Drum Dryer Be Used To Dry?
Rotary Drum Dryer is a drying equipment that uses the heat medium to fully contact with the material through the drum rotation to achieve moisture evaporation. Because of its strong applicability and high efficiency, it is widely used in many industries. Here are the main categories of raw materials that can be dried and specific examples:
1. Agriculture and agricultural products
This type of raw material usually contains a high natural moisture and needs to be dried to extend storage time or facilitate deep processing.
Grain categories: wheat, corn, rice, sorghum, etc., which can prevent mold after drying and ensure the quality of the food.
Oil crops: rapeseed, peanuts, soybeans, etc. Reducing the moisture content will help subsequent oil pressing.
Others: grass, straw, etc., which can be used as feed or biomass fuel after drying.
2. Minerals and building materials
Many minerals and building materials contain moisture after mining or processing and need to be dried to meet subsequent production or use requirements.
Ores: iron ore powder, copper ore powder, manganese ore powder, lead and zinc ore powder, etc., which are convenient for ore dressing and smelting after drying.
Non-metallic minerals: quartz sand, limestone, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, talc powder, etc., which can improve product purity and stability and are used in building materials, ceramics, chemicals and other fields.
Building materials: sand, stone, cement clinker, fly ash, slag, etc., to ensure the strength and performance of building materials products after drying.
3. Feed
In addition to agricultural products, there are also a variety of materials that need to be dried in feed production.
Feed raw materials: soybean meal, cotton meal, rapeseed meal, bran, fish meal, bone meal, etc. After drying, it can prevent the feed from deteriorating and improve the nutritional value of the feed.
4.Other special materials
Sludge: municipal sludge, industrial sludge, etc., which reduces the volume after drying, facilitates subsequent landfill, incineration or resource utilization.
Biomass: wood chips, bamboo chips, straw, etc., which are used as raw materials for biomass energy after drying.
It should be noted that although the tumble dryer has a wide adaptability to materials, the properties of the material (such as moisture content, viscosity, thermal sensitivity, etc.) should be considered.

What Is A Complete Wood Pellet Production Line?
01Wood Chipping Process
This process is mainly used to grind the wood logs whose diameter is under 25cm without barks into wood chips with size 25-55mm. The finish wood chips size can be adjustable by changing different sizes of screeners and adding flying knives inside the wood chipper.
02Fine Crushing Process
This process is mainly used to crush wood chips into sawdust,to ensure the density and combustion efficiency during the subsequent pressing and forming process,Hammer mill can quickly crush the materials to the required particle size. The production process is continuous, which greatly improves the production efficiency.
03Drying Process
This process is mainly used to dry the moisture content of sawdust to 10-15%. Drying the raw material to the proper moisture content is essential for the manufacture of high quality pellets. . For a small batch, the raw material can be left in the sun for at least 24 hours to dry naturally; For larger batches, a dryer can be used to dry the raw material to the desired moisture content
04Pelleting Process
This process is mainly used to products pellets with φ6-8mm. TONY's new 304 stainless steel vertical ring die pellet machine is extruded by ring die and roller group, the raw material is squeezed into the ring die hole to form, and constantly extruded to the outer end. When pelleting, it is necessary to ensure the uniform feed .
05Cooling Process
This process is mainly used to cool pellets from 80-90ºC to 20-30ºC. The freshly pressed pellets have a relatively high temperature and are soft. They need to be cooled and shaped through a cooler . After cooling, the hardness of the particles increases, making them easier to store and transport
06Packing Process
This process is mainly used to pack pellets into 15-50KG/Bags. Once the pellets are cooled, they are transported to a packing facility, packed and stored in a dry place. Finished wood pellet products are usually packaged in ton bags or small bags to meet the needs of different customers.
