TONY Drum Wood Chipper

TONY drum wood chipper is a kind of mechanical equipment specifically designed for wood processing. It mainly consists of a base, knife rollers, upper and lower feeding rollers, a feeding gap adjustment mechanism and a hydraulic system. It can cut logs, small-diameter logs and other materials into high-quality industrial wood chips with uniform length, smooth cuts and uniform thickness, meeting the quality requirements of wood chips in paper mills, particleboard factories, fiberboard factories, etc. The structural design is reasonable, and all components are easy to disassemble and install. The hydraulic system facilitates the replacement of blades and the adjustment of the gap between flying knives and bottom knives. It reduces the labor intensity of operators and the difficulty of maintenance.

Spare Parts Selection& Maintenance

 It can cut logs, small-diameter logs and other materials into high-quality industrial wood chips with uniform length, smooth cuts and uniform thickness

Feed: The wood enters the drum chipper through the feed port.
Cutting: When the wood comes into contact with the cutting blade, it is cut with the high-speed rotation of the cutting cutter head. The high-speed rotation of the cutter head allows the blade to cut the wood at a very high speed, resulting in thin, even wood chips.
Discharge: The cut wood chips are sent out in the cutting room by the high speed air generated by the wind blade on the cutting cutter head, and finally collected by the discharge device.

Original factory spare parts are preferred: Select original factory spare parts that match the equipment model to ensure compatibility in size, material and performance, and avoid equipment failure caused by non-standard parts.
Regular inspection and replacement: Establish a spare parts replacement cycle table. For instance, the flying knife needs to be ground or replaced after processing a certain amount of wood, and the bearings need to be lubricated or replaced every 500 to 1000 hours of operation.
Backup inventory management: For vulnerable parts (such as flying knives, conveyor belts, and seals), it is recommended to reserve a certain number of spare parts to reduce downtime for maintenance.
