Main Parts

Multifunctional Hammer Mill  Working Principle:

Motor of Multifunctional Hammer mill drives rotor to rotate in high speed in the crushing cavity. The materials are feeded into the machine through the upper feeding opening and are striked, impacted, sheared and grinded by high speed moving. Under the bottom of rotor, it is equipped with sieve plate. Among the crushed materials fractions that is less than mesh size are discharged through sieve plate, materials fractions that is bigger than mesh size are kept on the sieve plate to be striked and grinded by hammer and they are discharged out of machine finally. The main woriking parts of hammer crusher is the rotor with hammer. Rotor consists of main shaft, disc, pin roll and hammer.
Multifunctional hammer mill works connect with air fan and cyclone,air lock ,dust filter ,after crushed ,the powder will outlet from cyclone bottom.

What Is a Complete Wood Pellet Production Line?

Wood log is the most common raw material for making wood pellets.The main processing process of wood pellets:
01Wood Chipping Process
This process is mainly used to grind the wood logs whose diameter is under 25cm without barks into wood chips with size 25-55mm.   The finish wood chips size can be adjustable by changing different sizes of screeners and adding flying knives inside the wood chipper.
02Fine Crushing Process
This process is mainly used to crush  wood chips into sawdust,to ensure the density and combustion efficiency during the subsequent pressing and forming process,Hammer mill can quickly crush the materials to the required particle size.   The production process is continuous, which greatly improves the production efficiency.
03Drying Process
This process is mainly used to dry the moisture content of sawdust to 10-15%.  Drying the raw material to the proper moisture content is essential for the manufacture of high quality pellets. .   For a small batch, the raw material can be left in the sun for at least 24 hours to dry naturally;   For larger batches, a dryer can be used to dry the raw material to the desired moisture content
04Pelleting Process
This process is mainly used to products pellets with φ6-8mm.  TONY's new 304 stainless steel vertical ring die pellet machine is extruded by ring die and roller group, the raw material is squeezed into the ring die hole to form, and constantly extruded to the outer end.   When pelleting, it is necessary to ensure the uniform feed .
05Cooling Process
This process is mainly used to cool pellets from 80-90ºC to 20-30ºC.  The freshly pressed pellets have a relatively high temperature and are soft.   They need to be cooled and shaped through a cooler .   After cooling, the hardness of the particles increases, making them easier to store and transport
06Packing Process
This process is mainly used to pack pellets into 15-50KG/Bags.  Once the pellets are cooled, they are transported to a packing facility, packed and stored in a dry place.  Finished wood pellet products are usually packaged in ton bags or small bags to meet the needs of different customers.It is important to note that different pellet manufacturers may have different process details and quality control standards.If you have any questions, please contact TONY.
