Biomass pellet fuel is an environmentally friendly fuel, usually made from biomass raw materials through processing.  The raw material sources of biomass fuel are extensive, mainly including the following categories:
1.Agricultural waste
Crop stalks, such as corn stalks, wheat stalks, and rice stalks, are common raw materials for biomass fuel.  These straw resources are abundant and the collection cost is relatively low.
Agricultural product processing waste: including rice husks, peanut shells, corn cobs, sugarcane residue, etc.  Such waste usually has a certain energy content and can be processed into high-quality biomass fuel.
2.  Forestry waste
Wood shavings and sawdust: The wood shavings and sawdust produced during the wood processing are the main raw materials for wood-based biomass fuel.  They have a high density and energy content, and good combustion performance.
Branches and leaves: Branches and fallen leaves produced from pruning trees can also be used as raw materials for biomass fuel.  However, the branches need to undergo pretreatment such as crushing before they can be used in production.
Forestry logging residues, such as tree tips and roots left during the logging process, can also be converted into biomass fuel through collection and processing, achieving effective utilization of resources.
3.  Livestock and poultry manure
Livestock and poultry manure contains a large amount of organic matter.  After fermentation and other treatments, it can produce biogas and is an important raw material for gaseous biomass fuel.  Meanwhile, the dried feces can also be mixed with other biomass raw materials to produce solid fuel.
4.  Industrial organic waste
Food processing waste: Organic waste such as fruit peels, fruit pits, vegetable residues, and distillers' grains produced by food processing plants, rich in carbohydrates and other organic components, can be used to produce biomass fuel.
Paper mill waste: The bark and waste pulp produced during the papermaking process are rich in cellulose.  After treatment, they can be used as raw materials for biomass fuel.
Waste from printing and dyeing factories: Some wastewater from printing and dyeing factories contains organic dyes, fibers and other substances.  Through appropriate treatment, the organic components can be extracted for the preparation of biomass fuel.
5.  Energy crops
Miscanthus and sugarcane: These perennial herbaceous plants have the characteristics of fast growth, large biomass and strong adaptability.  They are rich in cellulose and hemicellulose and are potential raw materials for the production of solid biomass fuel.
