About TONY Sawdust Rotary Drum Dryer:
TONY Rotary Drum Dryer is a kind of equipment specially used for the treatment of sawdust, sawdust and other powdery wet materials, through the role of high temperature and drying medium to dry it to achieve the purpose of reducing the water content of the material.
TONY Rotary Drum Dryer adots low-speed rotarying curved plate hammering, dispersing raw material to make the high temperature air flow current mixed with raw materialto achieve the drying work. It mainly applied to drying process of all kinds of powerder raw material.
TONY Rotary Drum Dryer's evaporation capacity is generally 30-80kg/h, with the increase in air temperature increased, and with the nature of material changes in the water.
Equipment moves smooth, reliable, non-wearing parts, less malfunction, long service life, which have been widely used of the drying industry.
TONY Sawdust Rotary Drum Dryer Core Characteristics
1. High drying efficiency
Usually, the hot air co-current drying process is adopted. The material is in full contact with the hot air inside the dryer, with a large contact area, which enables the moisture to evaporate quickly, shortens the drying time, improves the drying efficiency, and can quickly reduce the moisture in sawdust to the ideal level.
2. Strong processing capacity
It can be customized according to the actual production needs of users. The daily processing capacity generally ranges from tens to hundreds of tons, which can meet the production requirements of different scales and adapt to large-scale sawdust drying operations.
3. Reasonable structural design
The equipment has a simple structure, occupies a small area, and is easy to build and maintain. For instance, by adopting a drum structure design, it operates stably with a low probability of failure, allowing for long-term continuous operation and reducing both operating and maintenance costs.
4. Good environmental protection performance
Production lines are generally equipped with dust removal equipment, which can collect and purify the dust and waste gas generated during the drying process, reducing environmental pollution and meeting environmental protection requirements.
5. Diverse heat source options
A variety of fuels such as coal, natural gas, steam, biomass pellets and fuel oil can be selected as heat sources. Users can choose the most suitable heat source based on their actual situation and cost considerations, which offers high flexibility.
6. Wide range of applications
In addition to sawdust, it can also be widely applied to the drying of various similar materials such as wood chips, bamboo shavings, bamboo powder and wood shavings, and has strong versatility and adaptability.

TONY Sawdust Rotary Drum Dryer Working Principle:
Feeding: The pre-treated sawdust is conveyed into the drum feeding port by the belt conveyor.
Hot air flow generation: The heat source device heats the air to form a high-temperature air flow (for example, a biomass pellet burner generates hot air at 350ºC);
Drum drying: Sawdust is flipped along with the lifting plates inside the drum and flows in the opposite direction to the hot air flow (counter-flow drying has a higher efficiency), and the moisture gradually evaporates.
Exhaust gas treatment: The hot and humid air generated during drying is discharged after dust removal. Some equipment can recover the waste heat (such as for preheating new materials).

What Is A Complete Wood Pellet Production Line?
1. Crushing process:
The raw material used to make wood pellets must be broken to a small size, and pellet machine users typically use a wood chipper to cut the wood into pieces 2.5 cm (0.98 in) or smaller
2. Fine crushing process:
Using a hammer mill, smaller pieces are crushed and cut into very small particles, reducing the size of the raw material to 5 mm (0.20 in). Some users will choose the pre-treated sawdust and can skip this step.
3. Drying process:
Drying the raw material to the proper moisture content is essential for the manufacture of high quality particles. Before granulation, it is necessary to ensure that the water content of the raw material is about 10%-15%. For a small batch of particles, the raw material can be left in the sun for at least 24 hours to dry naturally; For larger batches, a dryer can be used to dry the raw material to the desired moisture content.
4.Pelleting process:
The most commonly used equipment for granulation is the pellet machine. TONY's new 304 stainless steel vertical ring die pellet machine is extruded by ring die and press roll, the raw material is squeezed into the ring die hole to form, and constantly extruded to the outer end. When pelleting, it is necessary to ensure the uniform feed to prevent the blocking caused by too fast feed.
5. Cooling process:
When the molding particles leave the pellet machine, the particles themselves will be hot and release water vapor, so they must be cooled and dried, which can make them harder.
6. Packaging process:
Once the particles are cooled, they are transported to a packaging facility, packed and stored in a dry place.
It is important to note that different pellet manufacturers may have different process details and quality control standards.
If the wood chips raw materials may contain stones or metal and other debris, if these debris into the pellet machine particle chamber, they are likely to lead to the pellet machine mold clogging or wear, so the raw materials into the wood pellet machine before screening iron impurities. If processing pellets with a variety of raw materials may need to use a drum or blender batch mixing adjustment. Finally, not all particles can be pressed well, during the pressing process, some particles will be scattered or broken, usually using the aperture of the same size as the wood particles of the filter shaking or screening to remove the deformed particles.
The above is the main processing process of wood pellets. If you have any questions, please contact TONY.
