Wide Range Of Application

Raw material: wood, waste wood and straws, etc. such as wood
chips(palm, pine white pine, mahogany, pinus sylvestris, rubber tree
bamboo shavings, rice husk, seeds shells, peanut shells, halm,
pennisetum, wheat straw, corn stalk, cotton stalks, alfalfa grass,
bagrass, palm fiber, waste paper, non-physical material
Size:2-4mm (All the raw materials must be crushed into sawdust
before going to wood pellet machine.If not, you may need a wood
chipper, wood crusher.)
Moisture: Generally, 10-15% is best for producing good quality
wood pellet.

Density: pellets density after forming is 1.1 -1.4t/m'. It is convenient
for storage and transportation, and greatly improves the combustion
performance of biomass.
Elemental composition:75-85% carbon content, 3-6% ash content,
1-3% moisture content, absolutely no impurities such as coal gangue.

Catalyst value: The biomass pellet fuel generates a large amount of
heat, with a heat generation of around 3900-4800 kcal/kg. The
calorific value of the pellet fuel made from different raw materials

red pine particles are about 3978 kcal (16645kj/kg), wood chip mixed
particles are about 3896 kcal (16302kj/kg), and wood chip peanut
shell particles are about 3812 kcal (15948kj/kg)

How to design a suitable wood pellet production line with wood log as raw material?
wood log is the most common raw material for making wood pellets.
First, a drum wood chipper is used to chip wood log into small size wood chips with 2.5-3.5cm.
After that, hammer mill/wood crusher is used to grind wood chips into sawdust (6-12mm).
Sometimes, a dryer is need ,as usually the MC of wood log is always about 30-50%,Under this condition, a dryer is need.
Then, a vertical ring die wood pellet mill machine is used to press dried, wood sawdust into good quality wood pellets.
