Working Principle

TONY drum dryer is mainly composed of rotary body, lifting plate, transmission device, support device and sealing ring and other components.   
The wet material enters the slightly inclined and rotating cylinder from the upper part of one end, the dry material is collected from the lower part of the other end, and the hot air enters from the feed end or the discharge end, and exits from the upper part of the other end. The barrel is equipped with a forward copy plate, so that the material is continuously picked up and sprinkled during the cylinder rotation process, fully in contact with the hot air flow, in order to improve the drying efficiency and make the material move forward, so as to achieve drying

The heat source selection of drum dryer needs to comprehensively consider material characteristics, production scale, environmental protection requirements, cost and other factors, the following are some common heat sources:
1.Coal-fired heat source:
Advantages: Abundant coal resources, relatively low price, can provide high heat, high thermal efficiency, is an economical heat source choice.
Disadvantages: In the case of increasingly strict environmental requirements, more and more restrictions
2.Gas heat source:
Advantages: full combustion, high thermal efficiency, less pollutants, friendly to the environment, high degree of automation, can achieve accurate temperature control, can quickly adjust the temperature, to meet the drying needs of different materials.
Disadvantages: need to have a stable gas supply system, the initial construction cost is high, for some remote areas, there may be insufficient gas supply.
3.Steam heat source:
Advantages: stable temperature, easy to control humidity, will not cause pollution to the material, suitable for high drying quality requirements, do not allow to be polluted materials, such as drugs, food, textiles, etc., high thermal efficiency, steam can be recycled.
Disadvantages: The need to be equipped with steam boilers and other equipment, the initial investment is large, the operating cost is also high, and professional operators are required to maintain and manage.
